Please join the Federal Executive Institute Alumni Association on September 12th for a volunteer engagement at Martha’s Table. Volunteers will assist with bagging groceries for the Commons Grocery Market.  Additional information is included below.

Additional Details: If you have an FEIAA shirt, please wear it. Otherwise, we encourage you to wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes. There are lockers onsite if you have any valuables you would like to store.

Description
To promote access to healthy food to families in Wards 7 & 8, Martha's Table has a full service no-cost Grocery Markets at our locations in SE and NW open from 11:00am - 4:00pm for shoppers. As a volunteer you'll join our team at our headquarters in Southeast, DC. to help set up and operate the market, assist volunteers with shopping from a menu of vegetables, fruits, and pantry items, maintain inventory, unload delivery trucks, build pre-packaged grocery bags, and general maintenance. This is a front facing activity with direct interaction with community members. We need every volunteer who signs up to show up. We need every volunteer who signs up to show up. All volunteers must be at least 12 years old.
