Executive Summary Article Submission Guidelines

The Federal Executive Institute Alumni Association (FEIAA) is currently seeking submissions for the Executive Summary Newsletter.

The Executive Summary informs FEI Alumni readers about—career advancement, FEI News, class notes and issues that concern Senior Leaders. One way to ensure the Executive Summary reflects your interest, concerns as well as celebrates your victories is to become a featured author.

Published monthly, the Executive Summary is distributed to more than 700 FEI Alumni Association members.

Why submit an article?
Publishing an article in the Executive Forum offers you several benefits. It places your name in front of your peers, establishes you as an expert in your respective area and enables you to exchange ideas with your colleagues.

Submitting an Article is Easy

Sample Topic Areas may include articles on leadership, career advancement, work life balance, coaching, mentoring and book reviews.

Deadlines: The deadline is the 15th day of the month. October 15, November 15, etc.

Article Length: 200 – 1,000 words

Style:  Articles may be written in first person or third person or an interview.

Submission Requirements: Articles should be submitted by e-mail in either plain text format within the body of an e-mail or as a Microsoft Word attachment to office@feiaa.org. Please use JPEG or PNG format when submitting a photo or image.

When e-mailing a submission, be sure to include your full name, title, organization, LDS Class number, and contact information (including email address and phone number), along with one or two sentence biography (optional).

The Executive Summary, the official publication of the Federal Executive Institute Alumni Association (FEIAA), is published and distributed electronically 12 times per year via email to FEIAA subscribers.

At times, FEIAA will feature themes and submissions may be held for publication in those issues if they are appropriate.  FEIAA does not guarantee that articles submitted will be used in the Executive Summary. Authors will be contacted whether the article will or will not be used.  Accepted articles will be included in the Executive Summary at the editor/publisher’s discretion sometime within a 12-month period.
