FEIAA 2018 Recap: FEIAA Executive Forum
Share |

By KimOanh Nguyen-Lam (LDS 382), 2019 Executive Forum Steering Committee Chair

We’re excited to share with you the theme of our 2019 FEIAA Executive Forum: “The 2020 Executive Leader: Innovate, Integrate, and Motivate with Purpose and Integrity.” The Forum will be held at the Marvin Center, George Washington University, on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
This year’s theme emerged from the Steering committees’ discussions on what was important to executive Federal leaders as we enter a new decade.

We recognized the changing demographics across the United States and its impact on our work. Executive leaders of the future must be able to renovate and transform their organization to adapt to and strive in this new environment. We also realized the need to address the many different generations represented in our Federal workforce, and that there are experts in the field who could help us understand, value, and make the most of the strengths inherent in each group. As we move into a more digitalized work environment, technology is another area that represents both challenges and opportunities for the next decade’s executive leaders.

As you can see, there are many subthemes and key issues embedded in the Forum’s theme; it is difficult to address them all adequately. Thus, your comments and input are needed so we can focus on those that are most relevant and significant for you. Read More
